FAQs

PP (Polypropylene) – Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: What PP grades does CISKO offer?

We supply Hanwha TotalEnergies PP compounds in three main series: TB series (mineral filled – high stiffness and dimensional stability), GH series (glass fiber reinforced – high strength and heat resistance), and FH/FB series (flame retardant – UL94 V-0/V-2 certified).

Q2: What are the typical applications for mineral filled PP?

TB series is ideal for automotive E&E parts, washing machine interior components, detergent boxes, and household goods requiring excellent heat resistance, dimensional stability, and high impact strength.

Q3: What are the benefits of glass fiber reinforced PP?

GH series offers excellent physical properties, high heat resistance (HDT up to 163°C), low shrinkage, and superior processability. It is widely used in automotive E&E parts, household goods, and industrial components.

Q4: Which flame retardant PP grades are available?

We offer FH44 (UL94 V-0, non-dioxin, harmless to humans and environment) and FB51 (UL94 V-2, high impact). Both are suitable for automotive E&E parts, motor cases, and appliance housings.

Q5: Does CISKO provide technical documentation?

Yes. Every PP grade comes with TDS (Technical Data Sheet), SDS (Safety Data Sheet), and COA/COC (Certificate of Analysis/Conformance). REACH, RoHS, and UL documentation are also available upon request.

Core Application Areas for PP

PEI (polyetherimide) is a high-performance amorphous engineering plastic with a Tg of 217°C, inherent UL94 V-0 flame retardancy, and excellent mechanical, thermal, and dielectric properties. It is widely used in aerospace (FAR 25.853 compliant), 5G communications, medical devices, automotive electronics, and semiconductor applications.

PEI (Polyetherimide) – Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: What PEI brands does CISKO supply?

We supply SABIC Ultem™ PEI (full range: 1000, 1010, 1285, 2100-2400, 3452, 4000, 4001, 4002, 4211) and Valiant PEI (domestic, cost-effective: VAT002, VAT002HF, VAT002G10/G20/G30, and micron powders P50-P350).

Q2: What are the key properties of PEI?

PEI offers high heat resistance (Tg 217°C, RTI 170°C), high strength and stiffness, inherent flame retardancy (UL94 V-0 at 0.25-0.75 mm), excellent electrical insulation, and good chemical resistance.

Q3: What are the main applications of PEI?

PEI is used in aerospace interior components (FAR 25.853), 5G antenna and RF components, medical devices (FDA grade available), automotive E&E parts, semiconductor equipment, and industrial connectors.

Q4: What is the difference between Ultem PEI and Valiant PEI?

Ultem PEI (SABIC) is the global industry standard with broad regulatory approvals. Valiant PEI is a domestically produced, cost-effective alternative offering equivalent performance, with the same Tg (217°C), UL94 V-0 rating, and mechanical properties – ideal for customers seeking value without compromising quality.

Q5: Does CISKO provide PEI powders?

Yes. We stock Valiant PEI micron powders: VAT002P50 (D50 50µm), VAT002P100 (D50 100µm), VAT002P200 (D90 200µm), and VAT002P350 (D90 350µm) – suitable for SLS 3D printing, compression molding, rotational molding, and ceramic binder applications.

Shopping & Order Information

Q1: How do I place an order?

You can place an order through our website (/shop/), via email at info@pp-pei.com, or by contacting our sales team directly at +86 13538114678. We will confirm stock availability and issue a Proforma Invoice (PI) for your approval.

Q2: What are the shipping options and delivery times?

We ship via DHL, UPS, FedEx (express), air freight, sea freight, and rail transport (to Europe/Russia). Express delivery: 3-7 business days. Air freight: 7-10 business days. Sea freight: 20-40 business days (depending on destination). Tracking numbers are provided for all shipments.

Q3: What documentation is included with each order?

Every order includes TDS (Technical Data Sheet), SDS (Safety Data Sheet), and COA/COC (Certificate of Analysis/Conformance) for the specific batch. REACH, RoHS, UL Yellow Card, and FDA documentation are available upon request.

Q4: What is your return policy?

Branded raw materials (SABIC, Valiant, Hanwha Total) and custom compounds are non-returnable unless defective. Defective material claims must be reported within 7 days of delivery with supporting evidence (photos/videos + COC). Returns for non-defective items are not accepted. Please refer to our Refund and Returns Policy for full details.

Q5: Can I request a sample before placing a bulk order?

Yes. We offer sample quantities (typically 1-5 kg) for most grades. Samples are shipped via DHL/UPS/FedEx with free shipping for custom samples. Contact us with your grade requirements – we respond within 4 business hours.

Payment Infomation

Q1: What payment methods does CISKO accept?

We accept T/T (bank transfer), PayPal, Alipay, and credit cards (upon request). Choose the option that best fits your procurement process.

Q2: What are the payment terms?

Standard payment terms are prepayment (T/T in advance) for first-time orders. For qualified repeat customers, credit terms may be offered subject to a signed credit agreement. Please contact our sales team for details.

Q3: Is pricing inclusive of taxes and duties?

Unless otherwise stated, prices are quoted in USD (or RMB for domestic China sales) and are exclusive of shipping, customs duties, VAT, and insurance. For DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipments, we include those charges separately in the invoice.

Q4: Is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

MOQ varies by grade. For standard grades, MOQ is typically 25 kg (sample quantities available). For custom compounds or special colors, MOQ may be higher. Please contact us for specific MOQ details and volume pricing.

Q5: What happens if my payment is delayed?

Late payments may incur interest at 1.5% per month (or the maximum rate permitted by applicable law, whichever is lower), plus any collection costs. We recommend contacting us immediately if you anticipate a delay.
