Overview
Ultem PEI 1000-1000 (SABIC Ultem 1000) is a high-performance, unreinforced polyetherimide resin known for its outstanding thermal stability, mechanical strength, and electrical insulation. It is inherently flame retardant without halogens, meeting UL94 V0 and 5VA ratings. The natural grade is transparent amber and RoHS compliant. This material also offers good chemical resistance for an amorphous plastic and is suitable for applications requiring long-term heat resistance (RTI 170°C).
