Ultem PEI 3452-1000 is a 45% glass fiber and mineral filled amorphous polyetherimide (PEI) resin designed for exceptional dimensional stability and low warpage. It offers high stiffness (flexural modulus 12,410 MPa), excellent heat resistance (HDT 212°C), and inherent flame retardancy (UL94 V0 & 5VA). Enhanced flow allows molding of complex, precision parts.

Overview
Ultem PEI 3452-1000 (SABIC Ultem 3452) is a 45% glass fiber and mineral filled polyetherimide resin specifically engineered for applications requiring extreme dimensional stability and minimal warpage. The hybrid filler system provides a unique balance of high stiffness (flexural modulus >12,400 MPa), low coefficient of thermal expansion, and excellent heat resistance (HDT 212°C). Enhanced flow characteristics allow molding of intricate, thin‑wall precision parts. The material is inherently flame retardant, achieving UL94 V0 and 5VA listings, and is RoHS compliant. Available in natural (3452-1000) and black (3452-7301). ISCC+ certified bio‑based solutions are also available.
